In the midst of battling wind chills, struggling to put gloves on children, salting the driveway, and de-icing cars – here is a warm thought to keep you going:
SEPAC has compiled a list of local camps and events that offer supports to children of all abilities. Many local organizations have not posted their summer programs as of yet, however summer spots fill quickly so we thought we would get out what information we have available. If you know of any program to add to the list please email Alicia.firstname.lastname@example.org. Also, if your child goes to a summer camp, feel free to inquire if they make accommodations for children with special needs. Summer can be long and keeping the kids busy is a life saver!
As more summer events/camps become available they will be posted on our Facebook page. Keep checking!
And don’t forget – this Thursday, February 28th Ms. Sara DeMato and Ms. Mindy Sheehy are giving a presentation about screen time and the impact on childhood development. Don’t miss it!!!
