Girls Varsity Lacrosse 2022
Program Overview
The Danvers High School girls lacrosse program is among the top programs in its conference and throughout the state. As a part of the Northeastern Conference, the program faces off against local schools such as Beverly, Peabody, Marblehead and Swampscott, to name a few.
Our coaches emphasize individual skill development and they aim to provide a sound tactical understanding of the game. Coaches at every level in the program bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our players, and under their direction, the program has consistently produced winning teams. Danvers High School girls lacrosse is synonymous with speed, skill and sharp goaltending, factors that greatly contribute to the program’s success. Over the years, our girls have clinched multiple Northeastern Conference championship titles, and they have advanced far into the Division II MIAA playoffs following regular season play.
The Danvers High School girls lacrosse program focuses itself around the values of teamwork, sportsmanship and commitment. Many of our girls reference their teammates as similar to family members. Throughout the season, teammates become very close, and the chemistry can easily be seen on the field. This solid communication, coupled with the skills and strategies developed by our coaches, creates for fun games to watch. We look forward to extending our previous successes into another exciting spring season of lacrosse!
