Girls Varsity Gymnastics 2021-22
Program Overview
The Danvers High School gymnastics team has established itself as a top program in the region and state. The team is a varsity co-op that practices and competes in collaboration with the North Reading team in the Yellow Jackets facility in Middleton. Our athletes train in a state-of-the-art facility under the direction of a talented coaching staff. Each year our coaches develop the skills and abilities of our athletes and consistently produce a highly matured team. For multiple years the program has clinched the title of Northeastern Conference Champions, and often times advances to sectional and state competition. We face off against local rivals such as Peabody, Salem and Winthrop with the most anticipated meet of the season being against Beverly High School.
As a co-operative program, our athletes learn the values of leadership, teamwork and commitment. The team dynamic is truly unique to that of other programs at Danvers High School. Teammates must work with one another across town lines, an uncommon qualification of most high school teams. The goal of the gymnastics program is to create an exciting environment for our gymnasts to train and compete at a high level within the sport.
