Varsity Softball 2022

Program Overview

The Danvers High School softball program is founded on the principles of character, sportsmanship and teamwork. Fielding three teams across the varsity, junior varsity and freshman level, the skill and compete level amongst our girls is impressive. Each year our teams grow increasingly talented with the help of experienced and passionate coaches.

Our teams practice five or six days a week with multiple games occurring weekly. As a part of the Northeastern Conference, we face off against local towns such as Gloucester, Beverly, Marblehead, Peabody and Masco. Our program plays home games at the Great Oak fields in Danvers.  The Danvers High School softball program stresses good sportsmanship, and often times fans will hear our athletes cheering one another on from the dugout. Our girls create an exciting and positive atmosphere for fans to enjoy, and their continued success yields well-attended games.

Over the years our softball program has consistently developed the skills of our young athletes, many of which have gone on to further their softball careers beyond Danvers High School. For many years our teams have produced Division I and III softball players who attribute their current success to their past experiences with our program. Danvers High School is proud of its excellent softball players and coaches and looks forward to yet another exciting season of softball.
