Current Faculty

Ms. Kathryn Gadzera joined the Business and Technology Department in 1999. Prior to that she taught at Aquinas College in Newton and LARE Training in Chelsea. She is also an adjunct professor at North Shore Community College. Ms. Gadzera facilitates the Reality Check financial literacy program for senior year students.

Ms. Meghan Beaulieu (formerly Ms. Symmes)  joined the Business Technology Department in 2003. Prior to teaching at Danvers High School, Ms. Symmes had a fellowship with Citizen Schools, and worked at a middle school in Dorchester. She coaches the Danvers High School Swim and Diving Team and JV II Girls soccer team.. Ms. Symmes is the DECA advisor.

Former Faculty

Mr. John Leblanc joined the Business and Technology department in 1995, but had been a substitute for three years before becoming a teacher. Prior to that he worked for 17 years in the computer industry. Mr. Leblanc coached freshman softball, soccer, and lacrosse.

Mr. Mark Strout was hired in 1995 as the Associate Director of the Business Technology Department after having been in the employ of the Braintree Public Schools for twenty two years as: a teacher, summer school principal, faculty senate chairperson, and president of the Town of Braintree Federal Credit Union. Mr. Strout is an Assistant Principal and the Summer School Principal at Danvers High School. He is also the Secretary of the Danvers Educational Enrichment Partnership (DEEP).

Mr. Scott Kelley was a member of the Business & Technology Department during the 1994 – 1995 school year. He taught Introductory Business, Record Keeping, Marketing, and Computer Applications before becoming an Assistant Principal at Danvers High School. He served in that capacity for seven years (until 2002), until becoming Assistant Principal at Dunn Middle School. Additionally, he was the co-coordinator of the district’s Teacher Mentoring Program, and co-director of the secondary level summer school program.
