Preschool Eligibility

A Screening and/or evaluation is conducted to determine if a child has a disability that prevents him/her from making effective progress. If a child does not demonstrate a disability, that child may be eligible to attend the program as a typically developing child, on a fee-paid basis.

Peer Models

In the three integrated preschool classrooms, there may be up to eight peer models. The peer model program is tuition-based with the cost set each year. Peer models provide language-rich stimulation and age appropriate play, behavior and social skills in the classroom

Curriculum

Music, movement, language, indoor/outdoor play, art activities, block play, manipulative and sensory activities along with nature activities are provided through active exploration and supervised on a daily basis.

Age-appropriate preschool concepts and social skills are taught through each curriculum area of the program. Theme areas are implemented for development of imaginative play. New themes are introduced monthly.
