Welcome

A New School Year at Holten Richmond Middle School

Dear Holten Richmond Middle School Community,

I am honored and excited to welcome you to a new school year as your Interim Principal.

As a proud graduate of Danvers High School and a member of the Danvers High School Blue and White Club Hall of Fame, coming home to serve the students, families, and staff of Holten Richmond Middle School is deeply meaningful to me.

Throughout my nearly four decades in public education—as a teacher, school counselor, vice principal, and principal—my work has always been rooted in a single, unwavering core belief:

“Students come first.”

Middle school is a pivotal, transformative time in a young person’s life. Having spent 15 years as a middle school guidance counselor and many years as a middle school administrator, most recently at Belmonte Middle School and Saugus Middle-High School, I bring a deep understanding of the unique developmental, academic, and social-emotional needs of the middle school child. My focus has always been on creating a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment where every student feels supported as they discover who they are and what they can achieve.

Whether through building robust student support systems, expanding academic programs, or fostering collaborative partnerships with teachers and families, my priority is ensuring that our middle schoolers feel valued and equipped to thrive.

My ties to this community run deep. Beyond my own school days here, I have served as a parent representative on the Holten Richmond and Great Oak School Councils and coached track and field right here in Danvers. I look forward to working closely with our talented staff, dedicated families, and incredible students to ensure a smooth transition and keep Holten Richmond moving forward.

I look forward to an outstanding, successful school year together!

Warmly,

Dr. Maureen Lueke, Ed.D.

Interim Principal, Holten Richmond Middle School
