Grade 5 Family Orientation – May 2025
Good afternoon 5th grade Families,
I hope your child is having a fun and positive end to their 5th grade year! Below are links to summer learning information for 6th grade and HRMS for math and reading. 5th grade teachers may have already provided math packets to students.

I also want to update you that we are transitioning to chromebook carts in the 6th grade next year and students will not be required to travel back and forth to school with a device. For families who would like assistance with securing a device from the technology department, we will provide more information in a few weeks. Additionally, if you are in a position to purchase a device for your child at home, we can provide information for similar chromebook devices that are used at HRMS.
Summer Hours – our administrative team and office will be at HRMS throughout the summer if you would like to connect by phone or stop by the school. Our administrative team will not be in the office the week of July 7th.
6th grade Locker Night: We are looking to secure a date and time the week of August 25th for our Locker Night. We will send a follow up save the date as soon as possible.
