You will need  your students LASID number to proceed. This number can be found on the report card for all elementary students and through the Powerschool parent portal, next to your child’s name for middle and high school.
If you are unsure of this number, the respective school office can assist you.

Bus Waiver & Free and Reduced lunch application

General Information

  • All students who take the bus regardless of fee payment or fee waiver must register prior to the 1st day of the new school year.  Student who do not register will not be issued with a bus pass or be placed on the approved list for transportation.
  • Space availability on the bus is on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Payment needs to be submitted at the time of registration.
  • Kindergarten students should be accompanied to and from the bus stop by a responsible adult.
  • Students Grades K-5 must live at least 1 mile from the attending school.  Students in Grades 6-12 must live at least 2 miles from the attending school.
  • You will be required to enter your child’s LASID number at the time of registration:  This number can be found on the report card for all elementary students and through the Powerschool parent portal, next to your child’s name for middle and high school.  If you are unsure of this number, the respective school office can assist you.
  • Bus routes and stops listed are determined by the annual registrations and are subject to change.
  • No Student will be denied transportation because of financial hardship.  Bus fee waivers are available for students who qualify for free or reduced lunch, however the bus registration form must be competed each new school year.  Applications for this should be submitted annually.
  • If your child plays an instrument that cannot fit on his/her lap, or at their feet, it can not be transported on the bus.  This is for the safety of all students using transportation.
